The Clarks is a Dutch classic rock cover band from The Hague, known for their energetic renditions of iconic hits. They originally focused mainly on music from the 60s, but nowadays their focus is on legendary classic rock hits from the 70s and 80s.
Since their formation, The Clarks have built a strong reputation as one of the most successful classic rock cover bands in the Netherlands. They have performed all over the world, with shows in Germany, the United States, South Africa, Indonesia and Dubai, among others. Their international performances are testament to their wide appeal and musical versatility.
One of the highlights of their career was their role as house band in the television programme Nederland Muziekland. They were also the regular house band of Veronica Inside for several years, where they provided the musical accompaniment to the programme. This gave rise to successful theatre tours in cooperation with music connoisseur Johan Derksen, including Pioneers of Dutch Pop and Johan Derksen Keeps The Blues Alive.
