Wine & Cheese Shop Edam is part of Henri Willig Kaas BV and the majority of the cheese range consists of its own production.
Besides the home-made cow, goat and sheep cheeses, there is a wide range of young and old cheeses from the Beemster and a large variety of Organic - and Foreign cheeses and of course the Edam cheeses are not missing. They also have an extensive range of quality wines from leading wineries that you will find on the wine list in the better restaurants.
The Wine & Cheese Shop is located on the Spui in the world-famous cheese town of Edam. The shop is located in a monumental building from the 16th century. A cheese specialist shop has been here since 1947, and since 1990 it has been run by Bessel van Veen, who has a huge passion for all things cheese and wine.
