City guides Monnickendam
Set off with a city guide and discover Monnickendam. The city guide will take you along all the highlights and will be happy to answer all your questions.
In 1996, the City Guides were established as part of the Oud Monnickendam Association. Since then, the guides have been giving town walks through Monnickendam's old town all year round, telling a lot about the historical background and anecdotes of the town. The city walks take place by appointment and in consultation. On request, the city guides can provide a city walk on a specific theme or in another language (German, English, French and Italian).
The cost is €5.00 per person with a minimum amount of €20.00. Registration and enquiries: please contact via email or phone.
Free guided tour
There is also the possibility of a free guided city walk on Friday evenings from May to August, starting at 19.30 at the Speeltoren.
