The Kure-Jan beach
You can relax with your friends on this beautiful beach near Amsterdam. The Kure-Jan is a large beach where you can sunbathe blissfully or float on your air mattress or swim on the Stootersplas.
In the mood for action after all the napping? Stretch your legs and walk across the adjacent breakwater. At Kure-Jan beach you will also find one of the two dive sites in Het Twiske. This dive site is also suitable for novice divers and the disabled. Here you can make beautiful shore dives and get to know the underwater world of the Stootersplas.
In summer, weather permitting, you can buy a delicious ice cream or sandwich at the food truck. Near this food truck you will also find a public toilet.

The province of North Holland monitors the hygiene and safety of the official swimming spots from 1 May to 1 October.
