Playing outside: the most wonderful thing there is for children. Not only fun, but also super healthy outdoors and exercise. What more could you want for your (grand)child?
De Speelkraam is Purmerend's town playground. A nice large playground with all kinds of wooden play equipment for small and large children. The front part is for the little ones - further back you will find the more challenging equipment. And water, so never forget to keep a close eye on your children when you come to play at De Speelkraam!
Always check beforehand if they are open. Every year, the play season runs from the beginning of April to the end of October. During the rest of the year, the playground is hibernated and maintenance work is done. They have two sets of opening hours - within those, they may occasionally be closed if the weather is bad. Or if no volunteers are available.

- During school holidays, The Play Stall (during the play season) is open every day from 11am to 5pm. Check the website for the most up-to-date opening hours.
