This sculpture (corner Overweersepolderdijk/Burg. D Kooimanweg) focuses on feminist thought.

The fact that in feminism, it is mainly women who make their voices heard to realise their ideals led the makers to the idea, that you can shout but without a 'listening ear' nothing happens. Calls need to be heeded. Ears catch signals.

The two auricles are carried by silhouettes. They are the portraits of prominent feminists after whom the streets in the so-called Feminist Neighbourhood are named. The sculpture is made of powder-coated metal, perspex and electric wire.
