Edam comes alive during this special evening. As soon as dusk falls and the charming canals are illuminated, the spectacle of cheese carriers starts. The cheese arrives by boat, after which it is weighed, traded and transported on the picturesque market square. A special scene that should not be missed during your visit to Laag Holland.
