Volendam Days
Whereas the Volendammerdag originally always took place on the last Sunday of the month, the Volendammerdagen will again take place for two days after the success of the past two years. This unique weekend, full of culture and the unique Volendam traditions, is highly recommended.
On and around the Dike, there is plenty to do during the Volendammerdagen. Everywhere in the village, activities are buzzing: from art and culture to music and craft demonstrations. Enjoy authentic Volendam sounds during local performances, admire the beautiful traditional costumes and treat yourself to a delicious piece of fresh fish on the Dijk. And if that's not enough, you can even sail along on a real botter for an unforgettable experience on the Markermeer!
Whether you are a born Vòlledammer or just want to experience how hospitable this village is - you are most welcome! So mark Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June in your diary. Don't miss it!
