Laag Holland Maker's Market
The Laag Hollandse Makersmarkt is an initiative of the Purmerend local authority and the Tourist Board of Laag Holland. In 2026, this atmospheric market will take place four more times on the Kaasmarkt in Purmerend's town centre. Here, around 25 local makers from the region will have the opportunity to present their crafts and products to residents and visitors. The market offers an accessible way to become acquainted with the creative and artisanal entrepreneurs of Laag Holland.
Information & Facts
Participation in the 'Laag Hollandse Makersmarkt' is on the basis of registration and selection. The organisation reserves the right to select participants per edition according to the theme (spring, summer, autumn and winter). Participants sell home/self-made or artisan (produced/grown) products. Participants sell products related to/or originating from the Laag Holland region. Participant conditions are described in more detail in the general terms and conditions.
Spring, summer and autumn
The Laag Holland Makers Market will be organised at the Cheese Market in Purmerend on:
Saturday 28 March 2026 - The market will be open to visitors from 10am to 5pm.
Saturday 20 June 2026 - The market will be open to visitors from 10:00 to 17:00.
Saturday 26 September 2026 - The market is open to visitors from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Participants of the spring, summer and autumn edition will have access to a wooden atmosphere stall or space for their own (food) truck. If required, the organisation can provide participants with electricity.

The winter edition of the Laag Holland Makers Market will be organised at the Kaasmarkt in Purmerend on:
Saturday 12 December 2026 - The market will be open to visitors from 10:00 to 17:00.
Sunday 13 December 2026 - The market will be open to visitors from 12:00 to 17:00.
Participants of the winter edition will have access to a wooden atmosphere stand incl. mood lighting or space for their own (food) truck. If required, the organisation can provide participants with electricity.

A discount is applied when participating in both days.
