1. The Leeghwater pool

The Leeghwaterbad in Purmerend has not one but four pools under one roof. In the eight-lane sports pool, you can swim lengths while the activity pool offers the most fun activities. Think for example of activities such as Aquajoggen, Aquerobic, Floatfit and Acquapole Kickboxing.
The largest pool is the whopping 750 m2 leisure pool. This beautiful pool with a structure of attractive islands is really quite an experience. From a 60-metre-long slide and an 80-metre-long white-water course to a real water playground, water fun is guaranteed in this pool. The Leeghwaterbad also has several whirlpools and a large play area with a paddling pool.

2. De Waterdam swimming pool
One of the Netherlands' largest swimming pools!
One of the Netherlands' largest swimming pools with several indoor and outdoor pools, a large sunbathing area and many fun attractions is simply located in Volendam, in the province of North Holland. Thanks to the many types of pools, really everyone can enjoy a day of water fun here.
Thus, outside you will find a 50-metre pool with a diving pit with two diving boards, a large leisure pool with slide and two shallow toddler pools. With 3m2 of sunbathing areas with play equipment, football goals and water sand play area, there is plenty to do outside the water, too.
Is the weather a little less pleasant outside? Then come and swim indoors! Here you will find a 25-metre competition pool, an instruction pool, a paddling pool and a recreation pool. With a super cool slide and creek with rapids in the recreation pool, the children (and secretly the adults too) will have a great time.
