Port neighbourhood route

This walking route takes you through the south side of the Marken peninsula. From the starting point, you walk via Wittewerf to Grotewerf and Rozewerf. Arriving at the Rozewerf, you continue the route via the dike with a beautiful view over the glistening water. After a beautiful walk along the water, you arrive in the Havenbuurt and are almost back at the starting point of the route.

Important information:

• For this route, follow the posts with the red markings/arrows.
• Work is currently underway on the dyke reinforcement on Marken. As a result, several paths are closed. Walkers are offered an alternative route across Marken. Go to the website of Bezoekerscentrum Marken for more information about the diversions and the dyke reinforcement.
