The starting location of this cycle route is Theetuin Uitdam. Here, before you get on your bike, you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, tea or soda with something sweet.
From the tea garden, follow the route to Broek in Waterland. Along the way, you can enjoy the beautiful vast landscape. Arriving in fairytale Broek in Waterland land, the second resting point awaits you: the Broeker Kerk. This may not be a tea garden, but is certainly a wonderful catering stop. Snuggle down on the terrace and enjoy coffee/tea with some goodies, or a simple lunch.

Looking inside
From May to September, the church is open to visitors. Come in and admire the unique painted ceiling, the beautiful pulpit and the impressive organ. Volunteers can tell you all about the history of the church. For example, about the famous Neeltje Pater. Her gravestone shows her wealth... Also take a look at the stained-glass window, in which you can read the history of the church like a comic strip.
