Visitors to the town can get information and souvenirs at the museum shop, next to the Purmerends Museum. The offer consists of information leaflets about the town and souvenirs.

Visitors will find all kinds of information about the town and region here, such as maps, folders and cycling and walking routes. There are books about the museum collection and about (the history of) Purmerend and Beemster.
In addition, there are various local and regional products from Purmerend and Beemster. Pottery and glass products are also available and there is an assortment of postcards and nice gifts and gift boxes. Popular is the completely renewed town map of Purmerend and Beemster and for the children there is the Kabouterpad, a walk through the Purmerbos.
Temporary exhibitions are often a good opportunity to sell some products around the relevant theme.
