Gnome trail Purmerbos
Did you know that gnomes live in the Purmer forest? You know those little miniature ones with a red pointed hat on. In autumn, they like to sit under a red mushroom with white dots.
But they also like to be in the Purmer forest the rest of the year, as they like to live in holes in the ground or in a hollow tree. Sometimes an abandoned shed is their home or they build one themselves from branches in the forest. Will you join the search for them?
The items for the Kabouterpad are available from the VVV | Museum Shop, Peperstraat 35 in Purmerend. With these, you and your (grand)child can walk the special Gnome trail through the Purmer forest on your own. For more information and current opening hours, please visit the Purmerends Museum website.
Along the way, you will do all kinds of fun gnome tasks, which vary from season to season. So you can expect something new every season! The cost is €6.50 for a pointed hat and route and assignment map. Each additional child in the family also receives a pointy hat for € 1.50 extra.
