The Stables Bar & Grill
The two former cattle stables, where cows and horses stood during the cattle market in the centre of Purmerend, have been transformed into a crazy bar & grill.
However, the charm of the old cattle sheds has not been lost. In the bar, for instance, you will still find the drinking troughs and iron brackets that the cattle were tied to, and through both stables the original paving is still there.
From the open kitchen, they surprise you with fresh, simple and fresh dishes ranging from good cuts of meat from the Big Green Egg, beautiful fish from the grill, delicious sandwiches and salads and street food for the bar. Do you fancy a glass of wine, a beer or a cocktail in the afternoon or before dinner? Slide by the bar or find a seat on the chesterfield. Even after dinner, this is the ideal place for a cup of coffee or a nightcap.
