Baptist Church De Vermaning
The Baptist Church De Vermaning is a small church with a with a complicated history. The interior is not free to visit. A short walk to view the church in the old centre of Monnickendam is recommended.
History
When the little church was built is not known. However, there are indications about Mennonites in Monnickendam dating back to 1609. The oak pulpit with its copper lectern dates from the 17th century. The organ dates from 1869.

The church is not open for visits.
Services
The congregation meets fortnightly on Sunday mornings to celebrate worship at 10am. See website.
