The dike between Hoorn and Amsterdam looks peaceful. But it has been through a lot over the centuries. And yes, he likes to tell about it.
In Kijk Luister Dijk, the dike takes you into his world, through 14 different locations along the Markermeer. With a different short story about living with the water at each location, told by a quirky dike who has seen it all before.

Episode 4 - Forbidden for water
As a dike, I work closely with pumping stations and locks. But our working methods don't quite fit together. Because whereas for me it's very clear - water doesn't get through, pumping stations are a lot less black and white in their water work. So that still clashes sometimes.
