The Beemstergaard
The Beemstergaard is a special place where you can harvest vegetables, herbs, flowers and (small) fruits by eye. There is no loose sale of produce.
For the past 25 years, the Beemstergaard has been a biodynamic pear orchard, which now has about 900 old pear trees and 500 other young fruit trees. Chickens and runner ducks walk around, there are bees, wild flowers are sown, a pond has been created and various entrepreneurs are active, slowly creating an oasis of biodiversity. The starting point is working with nature, caring for the earth, caring for people and sharing the proceeds.
