The dike between Hoorn and Amsterdam looks peaceful. But it has been through a lot over the centuries. And yes, he likes to tell about it.
In Kijk Luister Dijk, the dike takes you into its world via 14 different locations along the Markermeer. With a different short story about living with the water at each location, told by a quirky dike who has seen it all before.
Location: Car park at junction 518, on the seawall looking over the Oosterpoel, just before Uitdam.
Episode 12 - Look a lapwing!
What a view huh? So being a dyke, I get to look at this all the time. And it never gets boring, because there is always something happening. Migratory birds, meadow birds, rabbits, foxes, mice. They fly over me or crawl into me. I think it's great fun. But one animal is very special.
