Reformed church Marken
The Reformed Church on the island of Marken is a national monumental three-aisled pseudo-Basilica. The church was entered in the register of monuments on 1 July 1983. The church was built between 1903 and 1904 to the design of A. H. L. Kups. However, the design itself dates from 1896.
The interior
The ceiling is in the form of a barrel vault resting on four cast-iron columns. Where the nave has a barrel vault, the side aisles, on the contrary, have flat ceilings. The side aisles are separated from the nave by round arches. In the nave, three 17th-century chandeliers hang from the ceiling.

The church can be visited from April to September Monday to Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Details
There are five ship models hanging in the nave, which are well worth seeing. These are the following types of ships two herring barges from 1600 and 1890, one of which is called d'Kaars -a steam lugger from the -a botter from 1957 and an anchovy fishing boat from 1959.
