The name of this Petit restaurant refers to a former marshland on Marken on which the property is built.
De Verkeerde Wereld offers a wide range of snacks in the cafeteria as well as complete menus, to take away or to eat in the restaurant. De Verkeerde Wereld provides extensive catering buffets in Marken and the surrounding area and also offers complete barbecue parties. Kitchen De Verkeerde Wereld serves Dutch cuisine, specialities include fish dishes such as kibbeling and cod and sole lekkerbekjes, and various meat dishes such as spare ribs and steak.
Extra De Verkeerde Wereld also offers rental of snack wagons for events with or without staff. The trolleys are suitable for preparing and selling chips & snacks as well as fish and oliebollen. The trolleys are brought to the venue, laid out and installed for a fee.
