Beemster visitor centre
Getting to know the Beemster World Heritage Site starts with a visit to the Beemster Visitor Centre. Here you will find all the information you need. There are books, leaflets and (cycling) routes that lead past beautiful monuments and interesting sights.
You can also hire bicycles at the visitor centre. You can also book all kinds of fun and educational packages, or browse through historical books about the Beemster region.

Visitor Centre Beemster
In addition to tourist information about De Beemster, visitors can also buy Beemster regional products here, such as cheese, honey, jam, garlic, juices, crisps, walnut oil and pear apple syrup, as well as gifts made from various Beemster products. Some of the other products on offer include: books, gift vouchers, unique hand and tea towels, mugs. Stop by and buy an original gift, or make arrangements and group visits. The experience 'Beleef de Beemster', a multimedia flight around the Beemster Polder through the centuries, is definitely worth a (group) visit.
You will find the Beemster Visitor Centre at Middenweg 185 in Middenbeemster. At this location you will find: VVV Beemster tourist office, World Heritage Hall and the Beemster Museum. In the courtyard is a source gas installation as used to be present in many places near farms in Beemster and there is a standard orchard with old fruit varieties.
