Captain Rommel's Garden is a unique piece of nature in the centre of Castricum municipality.
Central to the garden is the pond surrounded by various natural environments such as sparse dry grassland, wet grassland and a section with field weeds. But. also a beautiful herb garden and a shrubbery. The waterfall, greenhouse and well complete the picture.
The Garden also has a meeting area with a terrace. Here you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a cup of (herbal) tea.
All kinds of activities and events are organised throughout the year, all thanks to the active efforts of some 40 volunteers.
