De Zaansche Molen | The Mill Museum
The Zaansche Molen, a world of windmills!
Did you know that from the Golden Age onwards, there was a veritable industrial park of windmills in the Zaan region? There were more than a thousand of them! They produced paper, groats, dyes, flour, spices, all kinds of oils, planks and beams.
