Fruit growing became an important part of the business. In the late 1970s, son H. Tromp took over the business. Cattle farming stopped and fruit growing, especially grapes, became the main activity.

In 1990, J. P. Tromp took over the company. Since then, he has worked with Jordana Pestman and they continue the business as it is today. They specialise in fruit growing, especially table grapes, the Frankenthalers, which are sold to consumers in much of the Netherlands.
