This afternoon we go back to the days of good music and Dutch Rock'n Roll.
The Dizzy Man's Band built a fantastic reputation as a live band in the 70s and 80s. Not only did their repertoire include rock-solid own songs like "Matter of facts", "Tickatoo" (no. 1 in the Top 40), "The Show" and "The Opera", plus a whole slew of singles, but also a selection of hits by the likes of Blood, Sweat & Tears, Chicago, Joe Cocker, Alice Cooper. After the demise of lead singer Jacques Kloes, things were quiet for a while, but at the initiative of guitarist Dirk van der Horst's widow, the band was revived in 2019.
A host of professional, experienced musicians are now part of the expanded line-up, including four horns, which led to interest from the production team of the SBS programme "The Tribute, Battle of the Bands".

Dizzy Man's Band - The Legacy, as the band was christened, featured on this popular programme in early 2025. A total of some 6 million Dutch people watched a tightly playing band perform Dizzy's hottest hits fantastically.
