In search of the white-tailed eagle

During a short boat trip through the Wormer and Jisperveld and a walk through the Schaalsmeerpolder, we’ll be on the lookout for winter birds. A guide will be joining us. With a bit of luck, we might spot the white-tailed eagle, which has been making regular appearances of late.

The event starts and finishes at the Poelboerderij visitor centre, where visitors can enjoy hot drinks and biscuits, a small winter market and a cosy atmosphere. Fire pits, mulled wine, biscuits and hot drinks, a flea market, Christmas crafts with children, second-hand goods, stalls selling items such as wool and willow products, wooden windmills and cards.
