This band is named after the furious man who is the singer: MR. FEROCIOUS. They listened to Mötorhead, Johnny Cash, Tom Waits and Geese.
They range from whisper-soft to raw and edgy, and are now in their tenth year. They’re hopeless at love, talk fiercely, but have a soft spot. They play gritty rock ’n’ roll, stirring murder ballads, energetic steampunk country with tight backing vocals, and don’t do covers (apart from one unrecognisable one). They play on cheap guitars; they’ve got no cymbals, but they do have drums and a upright bass. And let’s not forget a Chevrolet Suburban.
They are the biggest small band around, and have left no venue unmoved, whether it was the Summer Carnival in Albergen, the Roode Bioscoop in Amsterdam or the PHIL in Haarlem. And they’ve finally released an album, “MAN DON’T BREAK”. Come and have a listen!
