KAASPOP music festival

Every year, KAASPOP transforms Edam’s historic town centre into one huge open-air festival. This free event is known throughout the region as one of the most enjoyable festivals of the year, with a varied programme for young and old alike.

Stages on the Kaasmarkt (Jan Nieuwenhuizenplein), the Beestenmarkt (Jan van Wallendalplein) and beneath the Speeltoren (Lingerzijde) offer beautiful, picturesque backdrops for a varied programme featuring all kinds of musical styles: from jazz and blues to pop and rock. The children’s programme guarantees plenty of active surprises for young festival-goers. Delicious snacks have also been provided, with an extensive food alley that effectively links the stages together.

The programme will be announced in the spring of 2027 on the website and via Facebook and Instagram.
