Sinterklaas parade Marken
Saturday 22 November is the day: Sinterklaas and his Pieten are arriving in Marken!
Programme
11:00 am - Children and music society Juliana gather in the village hall.
11:20 am - The procession will depart from village hall Het Trefpunt, via Kerkbuurt, Buurtstraat and Westerstraat to the Haven.
11:45 a.m. - Arrival of Sinterklaas and his Pieten by boat. The Saint is given a festive welcome, after which the procession moves from the harbour via Buurtstraat and Kerkbuurt back to the village hall.
12:30 pm - Arrival of the Saint at the village hall, where everyone is welcome as long as there is room (children first, of course!).
13:30 - Sinterklaas and his Pieten say goodbye to the children and prepare for the busy weeks on Marken.
It is extra fun for the Sint and his Pieten if the streets along the route are decorated and the children come dressed up. The visit of the Sint is also a great opportunity to hang out the Méérker flag!

Please note: on Saturday 22 November between 11:00 and 13:00, the Harbour (neighbourhood) will be closed to through traffic due to the entry.

Download the colouring page and participate! Colour it in and hand in your drawing to Linda Binken (Kerkbuurt 166). The drawings will be presented to Sinterklaas, who will choose the most beautiful one! The winners will be announced on Saturday 22 November during the parade. Clearly state your name and age on the drawing.
