Sinterklaas parade Marken
Sinterklaas is coming to Marken! Join the Juliana music society on their walk to the harbour, welcome Sinterklaas and his helpers, and then continue the celebrations at the Het Trefpunt village hall.
On Saturday 21 November, Sinterklaas will be visiting Marken. From 11.15 am, the children will gather at the Het Trefpunt village hall. Accompanied by the Juliana music society, the procession will set off at 11.30 am via Kerkbuurt, Buurterstraat and Westerstraat towards the harbour.
At 11.50 am, Sinterklaas and his helpers are expected to arrive by boat. After a festive welcome, the procession will make its way back to Het Trefpunt via the Buurterstraat and Kerkbuurt neighbourhoods.
The festivities will continue there at 12.30 pm with the afternoon programme. Everyone is welcome as long as there is space, with children given priority. At 1.30 pm, Sinterklaas and his helpers will say their goodbyes.
