Bertus Borgers with Brabant Funk

Bertus smoothly alternates this in his repertoire with some English-language classics from his past. The Veldhoven rock veteran thus stays true to his 60s roots of rock, soul, jazz and blues, accompanied originally and with passion by three family members. The album Live Music in the Sjoklade Factory was recorded at De Cacaofabriek Helmond in February 2025 and released on CD and online in late 2025.

With this, Brabant Funk makes a case for Live Music, or as Bertus says: "Live Music doesn't need complex online technology to get to you, music played live only uses air to reach your ear. Moreover, the musicians in front of you play the music you hear, AI is not in between. Moments are created specifically for you.'
