Farm Open Day

Are you looking for a fun autumn outing with the children in North Holland? Then come along to the Open Farm Day at Natuurboerderij Hardebol in Landsmeer on Saturday 31 October from 10.00 to 15.00. The farm will be decked out in Halloween spirit on the day, and there’s plenty to enjoy for young and old alike.

Meet the cows in the barn
The cows will be back from the fields by the end of October and will be cosily settled in the barn. During the Open Farm Day, you’ll have the chance to give the animals a warm welcome back, see them up close and discover more about life on our farm. A unique experience for children and adults alike.

Halloween Treasure Hunt for children
Especially for our younger visitors, we’re organising a Halloween Treasure Hunt in the barn. Children will set off in search of various fun games and challenges. They’ll earn a sticker for every game they complete. Anyone who collects five stickers will receive a real Farm Certificate as a memento of a successful day on the farm.

Delicious food and drink
All that adventure is bound to work up an appetite. That’s why, in the farmyard, you can enjoy a warm bowl of fresh pumpkin soup, a delicious Angus burger made from our own beef, coffee or tea with homemade apple tart, and of course freshly baked poffertjes.

Visit our farm shop
Our farm shop is also open during Open Farm Day. Here you’ll find our own meat, various types of cheese and other delicious products from the farm and the region. From local beef to artisanal regional specialities: there’s something tasty for everyone to take home.

A lovely day out for the whole family
Open Farm Day is a great activity for families, grandparents and anyone interested in farm life. Come and celebrate autumn amongst the animals, enjoy the Halloween atmosphere and discover what goes on at a real nature farm.

We look forward to welcoming you to our farm for a fun, educational and tasty autumn day!
