Gravity & Other Myths – The Mirror

The Australian circus theatre group Gravity & Other Myths pushes the boundaries of what is physically (im)possible in every show. In *The Mirror*, they once again live up to their reputation as one of the world’s finest circus companies.

Human towers come crashing down, whilst acrobats fly back and forth at breakneck speed. They play with appearances and reality, with illusions and expectations – both of one another and of the audience. With cameras, selfie sticks and video footage, vanity and posturing are satirised. Do you see who you want to be, or who you really are?

*The Mirror* is performed by eight acrobats. The singer performs live pop medleys by composer Ekrem Eli Phoenix. Directed by Darcy Grant and Jascha Boyce.
