On Sunday 1 November at 4.00 pm, the church in Zuiderwoude will welcome the piano duo Symbiosis for a special concert featuring four-handed piano music.
The two young pianists, Elisabeth Crommelynck and Sander Meersmans, have been playing together for ten years and share a passion for classical music. Their programme centres on musical interplay, dialogue and synchronisation. Their repertoire includes waltzes by Brahms, dreamy music by Ravel, variations by Schubert and a more contemporary work by Wim Mertens. The piano pieces are interspersed with sung interludes.
Duo Symbiosis is renowned for the vibrancy, musicality and imagination of their performances. After graduating with distinction from the Antwerp Conservatoire, they performed frequently in the Netherlands and Flanders, even for the Belgian royal couple.
