Chocolate cycle tour

During this delicious and inspiring cycle tour, Lisa will take you past historic sites, old factories, windmills and hidden stories that have made the region one of Europe’s most important chocolate-producing areas.

At each stop, you’ll sample a specially selected chocolate that ties in with the story of that location. The route takes you past iconic spots such as the Zaanse Schans, historic factory buildings and other special locations that tell the story of cocoa, trade and craftsmanship. This way, you’ll experience history not only with your eyes and ears, but also with your taste buds.

The cycle tour is suitable for both chocolate lovers and those interested in the rich industrial history of the Zaan region.
