Paul Haenen turns 50 Margreet Dolman

‘Margreet Dolman’ is celebrating its 50th anniversary. To mark the occasion, this special production is touring the country for the first time and can now also be seen at the Zaantheater.

The evening begins with Paul Haenen and Dammie van Geest, who will be in conversation together. Reverend Gremdaat will then take to the stage with a sharp, topical and humorous perspective on today’s world.

After the interval, it is Margreet Dolman’s turn. She talks, sings and shows clips from her long career. She also engages in conversation with the audience. These encounters are personal, sometimes moving and often surprisingly witty. Dr Valentijn assists her in this.

This production has been a fixture in Amsterdam for over 30 years, but has rarely been seen elsewhere. Now, at the Zaantheater, you have the chance to experience this unique evening of theatre for yourself.

Together with Margreet Dolman, Paul Haenen created the longest-running theatre character in the Netherlands. An evening full of warmth, humour and humanity.
