Are you our new social media specialist?
Bureau Toerisme Laag Holland is growing and our social channels are growing along with it! That is why we are looking for a Content Marketeer who will further increase our online visibility and put Laag Holland on the map with inspiring content.
Are you someone who knows how to capture stories in images and text? Who enthusiastically brings special places, entrepreneurs and events to life on social media and can promote this strategically? Then we would like to meet you.
Laag Holland is the region north of Amsterdam: an area full of stories, world heritage, water, vast landscapes and villages and towns full of character.
As a destination management organisation (DMO), we put this region on the map, for residents and visitors alike. We do this with a small, driven team of specialists in tourism, marketing and hospitality.
Your role
In this position, you will colour the online appearance of Laag Holland. You will develop (self) recognisable and creative content that matches our brand identity and the stories of the region.
What you will be doing
✨ Creating appealing content (text, images and video) for Instagram, Facebook, newsletters and the website
📅 Planning, managing and optimising our year-round content calendar and ad centre
🚀 Thinking along on campaigns, strategies and target group approach
🤝 Building collaborations with influencers, partners and content creators
Who you are
You are an experienced Content Marketer with a keen eye for images, a feeling for tone of voice and a love for stories. You work in a structured way, think strategically and have fun creating and promoting appropriate content. Furthermore, you have:
- At least 3 years of demonstrable experience with social media management
- Experience with photography, video and copywriting
- A proactive and independent working style
- A driving licence and (private) car to go on the road in the region
What we offer
🌼 A varied, creative position for 24 hours a week (depending on your preference, fixed or flexible days)

💰 Salary according to scale 7 of the AVR (€2,405 - €3,431 based on 38 hours)
📍 Location: Purmerend, but also regularly in the region
