Skating rink on the Koemarkt

The festive winter season starts this year with a bang! On Friday 28 November at 19:00, the skating rink on the Koemarkt will be officially opened with a spectacular laser show and a special Tesla light show.

Of course, even after the opening, there will be plenty of fun on and around the ice rink. At Brasa's Almhütte, with its warm winter atmosphere and live music, there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the start of the cosiest time of the year together.

Skating fun for young and old

From the opening, young and old can enjoy delicious skating fun until 4 January 2026 for only €10.00 per person (excluding €1.20 service and booking fee). Tickets are easy to buy online via winterspurmerend.nl or directly at the ice rink. The skating rink is made of real ice, so you can just bring your own skates. Noren are unfortunately not allowed. Of course, you can also hire skates on site. And don't forget to bring your gloves, as they are compulsory.

This winter, come to the atmospheric skating rink on the Koemarkt, the heart of Winters Purmerend, and glide across the ice under twinkling lights. While you make your laps, you can enjoy warm drinks and the cosy winter atmosphere. A perfect way to have fun together in winter!

Disco skating on Friday night

During Winters Purmerend, the skating rink will turn into a real disco on several Fridays, with a different theme each evening:

5 December - Disco with Pieten (17:00-22:00): Pieten happily skate along until 20:00, after which the party on the ice continues.
12 December - Live DJ (18:00-22:00): a smashing skate disco with the hottest beats.
19 December - Foute Kersttruien (18:00-22:00): put on your shiniest Christmas jumper and come onto the rink.
2 January - Glow in the Dark (18:00-22:00): neon lights, glow sticks and black light create an unforgettable winter atmosphere.

Put on your skates, turn the most beautiful pirouettes and enjoy an evening of music, lights and winter fun. Will you linger afterwards for a hot chocolate or mulled wine?

Curling tournament for everyone

In addition, teams can sign up for the curling tournament on the Koemarkt for €30 per team. Whether you are an experienced player or have never thrown a stone before, everyone can participate. A perfect activity for friends, family or colleagues, with sporting excitement, cheerful music and warm winter drinks.
