Friend of Waterland
As a 'Friend of Waterland', you support Waterland. With your contribution, we can do more to make living in Waterland more enjoyable and fun. For instance, we organise and support various events every year, we co-organise the annual folding chair concert and Christmas stall route and we actively contribute to numerous initiatives in our municipality, which ensure that Waterland is put in the spotlight in a positive way. In the future, we would like to develop more initiatives that can make a positive contribution to the attractiveness of Waterland for its residents. Initiatives for which we hope for your contribution.
For just €10 a year, you are already a friend. In exchange for your contribution, you will receive a pack of beautiful postcards of Waterland from us, with which you can bring family, friends and acquaintances a unique greeting from your Waterland. In addition, we will keep you informed of all Waterland events weekly by e-mail.

Waterland voucher
The Waterland voucher has been introduced by Stichting Promotie Waterland (SPW) and Ondernemend Waterland (OW) and is on sale at Information Point Waterland at Zuideinde 2 in Monnickendam and at Information Point Waterland at Havenbuurt 19C in Marken. The voucher has denominations of €5 and €10 and can be spent at all OW and SPW members in Waterland. The voucher is an ideal gift for Waterlanders!
Becoming a volunteer
Stichting Promotie Waterland is looking for enthusiastic volunteers for the Information Points in Monnickendam and/or Marken.
- Do you care about Waterland and enjoy working in an active and enthusiastic team of volunteers?
- Would you like to inform visitors, residents and entrepreneurs about the surprising opportunities offered by Waterland?
- Do you know a lot about tourism and recreational opportunities in Waterland?
- Can you get on well with people and remain friendly in crowds?
- Are you eager to learn and willing to further increase your knowledge about Waterland?
- Do you have a few hours a week to spare?
Then we would like to welcome you as a volunteer for Information Point Waterland at Zuideinde 2 in Monnickendam and/or Havenbuurt 19C in Marken! We invite people from all cores of Waterland to respond to this fun volunteer vacancy!
