Warrie Knarrie Restaurant - Bar & Lounge is known for its delicious menu delicious for lunch and late afternoon, freshly made sandwiches, tasty juices and great coffee.

From flower shop to restaurant
Around 1978, Warrie Knarrie began as a flower shop. The owner at the time, Dick Warbout had the nickname Warrie, partly thanks to the series Jester Notendop that was on television at the time. When a name had to be thought of for the flower shop in 1978, a friend of Dick Warbout came up with the word Knarrie after Warrie.

In 2003, the flower shop ceased to exist and made way for a new restaurant. The new owner was so impressed with the name Warrie Knarrie that he chose to keep it. Over the years, Warrie Knarrie has managed to make its mark as a restaurant in Purmerend. A very extensive range of delicious sandwiches, which are now very well-known, have ensured that Warrie Knarrie has become a familiar face!
