(H)honest pork comes from the Beemster. At the small-scale pig farm Het Beemsterlant's Varken, they take care of the pigs every day.

Visiting the show pen
Come to watch pigs? At the farm, you can come and see pigs seven days a week on your own. Once you have parked your car in the yard, you can walk past the stables on the right-hand side of the yard. Here you will find several windows through which you can look inside. Don't forget the stairs at the very back, where you can look out over the sows.
Halfway down, you can look into the farrowing pen, where the piglets are born. With a bit of luck, you can see newborn piglets. There are also signs with information and trivia.
