In Kijk Luister Dijk, the dike takes you into its world via 14 different locations along the Markermeer. With at each location a different short story about living with the water, told by a quirky dike who has seen it all before.

How long have I been here? Centuries. I protected the hinterland first from a sea, later from this lake. But even a dike of a dike like me, once struggled tired. Fortunately, I was not completely replaced. And I got help from unexpected quarters.
