Twin Houses
The facade of these cottages consists of two 17th-century linked stepped gables. Internally, only one timber frame is present.
The attic beams therefore run through the dividing wall. The generous width of the individual houses made this possible. You could speak of a kind of social housing construction, at a time when not the labour but the materials used were expensive.
