De Hoep Visitor Centre in Castricum is located in one of the most beautiful spots in North Holland. Here you can learn all about water purification and the North Holland dunes.
De Hoep organises activities and excursions all year round, also especially for children. They will be happy to help you plan a trip along special spots in the dunes, such as the bird hide and the water bell.
In the Hoeptuin, you can see how the dune landscape was created, with its unusual animal species and unique tree and plant growth. There is a waterhole and bird-watching wall. Backpacks for a treasure hunt through the garden are available at the reception desk.
