The dike between Hoorn and Amsterdam looks peaceful. But it has been through a lot over the centuries. And yes, he likes to tell about it.
In Kijk Luister Dijk, the dike takes you into its world via 14 different locations along the Markermeer. With at each location a different short story about living with the water, told by an obstinate dike who has seen it all before.
Location: On the dike, near the parking lot and stone steps, on the south side of Uitdam.

Look, as a dike, I like people. After all, I'm there for them. But I have a special bond with the residents of Uitdam. You can see it too: nowhere else do I get as close to the houses as here. The village and I are one. And no matter how much the world changes, that bond will always be there.
