Beemster World Heritage Room
In the World Heritage Room of Visitor Centre Beemster, you will discover the special story of the Beemster as a UNESCO World Heritage site. In an accessible and clear way, you will be given information about both the Beemster Polder and the Hollandse Waterlinies, two unique world heritage sites that together tell the landscape and history of this area. A large overview map shows how rich and versatile the Beemster is and inspires to go out and explore the area further. The World Heritage Room is part of the cooperation between Bezoekerscentrum Beemster and the Beemster Museum, both located at Middenweg 185 in Middenbeemster.
