This farm campsite is located in the beautiful, water-rich municipality of Waterland, in the peat meadow area and bordering the Purmer EE, an offshoot of the IJsselmeer.
The campsite has 25 spacious pitches, all with electricity and free wifi, both on the pitches and in the bad weather accommodation. For children there is a playground with various play equipment, such as a trampoline and a slide. The campsite borders the farm with dairy cows and sheep.
Boerencamping Katwoude has paid extra attention to modern sanitary facilities, with separate shower and toilet areas, dishwashing facilities with hot and cold water and a separate laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
In the immediate vicinity, you will find the picturesque towns of Monnickendam and Edam, and tourist attractions such as Marken and Volendam. By public transport, you can be in the centre of Amsterdam within 20 minutes.
The wetland offers plenty of opportunities for water and angling sports!
