Purmerend Water Sports Club and Marina

In peaceful surroundings and still in the city centre, the Purmerend Water Sports Club manages 75 permanent and 25 seasonal moorings along the banks of the river De Where and 50 beautiful brand new seasonal moorings along the North-Holland Canal. When you sail over the North-Holland Canal towards Amsterdam, you reach the harbour after the passage from the Purmerend lock and the Beemster bridge. Coming from Edam and Monnickendam your pass three bridges.?

There are a number of faculties on the quay, including electricity points, a permanent water connection, well maintained showers and toilets and the harbour office. Visitors with a mooring on the Beemsterburgwal and the North Holland Canal can also use these. ?

Purmerend is situated in the middle of the wonderful region of Laag Holland and has a remarkable amount to offer. There are numerous delightful sailing routes, but you can also enjoy marvellous hiking and cycling trips. The VVV, the ANWB and the harbour master can provide you with all the information about attractions and activities in and around Purmerend.
