In Schardam is the Koggenbungalow with veranda, sunny garden and private entrance. This unique spot on the water offers free views; the rowing boat is ready at the jetty!
This area, rich in birdlife, is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, nature lovers, cyclists and walkers. Fishing is also an option; you can even cast a line from the garden. The garden offers both sunny and shaded spots. The bungalow is fully equipped for three people, and in the evening you can sit outside on the attractively lit covered veranda.

2. Tinyhouse on the embankment
Small, cosy, nature
‘Juffertje in het Groen’, a tiny house tucked away amongst the reeds, right on the ring canal in Driehuizen, North Holland. Here, you can step straight from your bed onto the jetty. And from there, you can hop straight into one of the two canoes provided to explore the neighbourhood. Because it’s certainly well worth a visit…
The tinyhouse is close to the Eilandspolder, a place in North Holland where nature still has plenty to do. Every season has its own charm here, against the backdrop of the crushingly wide landscape. From your lazy sofa bed or - even better - from the centrally located bathtub in the living room, you can gaze at the beautiful landscape through the large windows.
Or from the decking, because fair is fair: in summer in the Juffertje at its best. Then you can swim, row, cycle, barbecue, light fires and... shower outside. In your bare bottom. Because you can do that here... no one sees you. Except Little Miss, but she keeps her mouth shut. This tinyhouse is the hotspot in North Holland, so when will you come and sleep here?

3. B&B Beemster Oasis
Enjoying a green landscape
In 2018, an old shed was transformed into B&B Beemster Oasis, a quiet and atmospheric bed and breakfast along the Beemsterdijk, a short distance from Purmerend. The B&B features two comfortable rooms with private bathrooms and a cosy middle room where guests can enjoy coffee, tea, and light meals. The private terrace and garden offer plenty of opportunity to unwind.
The location is perfect for trips to Amsterdam, the Zaanse Schans, Volendam and the IJsselmeer, and is also ideal for hiking and cycling in Laag Holland. Purmerend, with shops and restaurants, is just 2 km away.
