Fred Boom will exhibit from 7 to 28 June in the Grote Kerk Oosthuizen.

Fred Boom, born and raised in Zaankant, 1938, attended the Training College for Naval Engineers in Amsterdam and then sailed the world's seas from 1959-1971 as a merchant marine engineer on cargo and passenger ships for KNSM.
Drawing and painting has always been his hobby. Exhibitions followed in the Netherlands and Curaçao, always on the theme of ship portraits and seascapes and harbours. Hundreds of maritime works have found a place all over the world.

Fred Boom will exhibit from 7 to 28 June in the Grote Kerk Oosthuizen, free admission. The church is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 5pm. During the Zeevang Summer Route, 27 and 28 June, the church will be open from 11am to 5pm.
